Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Site - Full Time in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with tenants and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The post is primarily a driving post and this is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to visitors, tenants, and staff as needed.
Document all activities, incidents, and/or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and/or client representatives.
