Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrols in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to address concerns. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting others as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document observations and incidents according to company and client procedures, maintaining clear and accurate records.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors while representing Allied Universal at all times.
• Support emergency response activities and assist first responders when necessary, following established protocols.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt patrol routes as needed based on site conditions.
