As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to provide reassurance for occupants and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to support access control measures.
Assist with visitor management, including registering guests and providing appropriate direction within the location.
Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence at designated access control posts.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting tenants, visitors, and staff as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns or hazards.
Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Follow emergency response protocols and coordinate with building management and/or local authorities during critical events.
