About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Property Patrols in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and high visibility. You will engage with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, providing support as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or hazards found during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate professionally with building tenants, visitors, and staff to address questions and/or provide assistance as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment.
