Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Property Patrols in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for tenants and visitors. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will create a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication skills will help you respond to inquiries and assist those onsite. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential hazards.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with property management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site protocols.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and Allied Universal policies while performing assigned duties.
