As a Security Officer - Commercial Property Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Your visible presence and proactive communication contribute to a welcoming environment, while you work as part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location.
Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address site-specific needs and/or issues.
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required by site protocols.
