As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with strong communication and customer care. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Monitor access points and observe people and property, helping to enforce property rules, support a professional environment, and assist with wayfinding and basic inquiries.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover per site requirements.
