About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol in Norman, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies in a commercial real estate environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Support access control measures by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as part of Allied Universal's standards.
Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Assist in enforcing property rules and regulations to help to deter policy violations and support a secure environment for all occupants.
