Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Specialist in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence. You will engage with tenants and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior.
Document and communicate observations, incidents, and activities according to site protocols.
Work collaboratively with property management and/or local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist visitors and provide information as needed.
