Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Lead in North Hollywood, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as outlined in site procedures.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating promptly with appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
