Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Full-Time in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, respond to inquiries, and communicate clearly with tenants and visitors. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor activity within the property.
• Collaborate with property management and first responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
