About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Driver in Skillman, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences, according to Allied Universal policies.
Document all activities and incidents as required by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
Remain alert and attentive while on patrol to help to deter potential issues within the commercial real estate environment.
