About The Position
As a Security Officer - Commercial Lobby Access in San Juan Capistrano, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for all visitors and tenants. You will conduct routine patrols and deliver outstanding customer service, supporting a secure and professional environment. This is a driving post, and you will be part of a team that values integrity, reliability, and putting people first.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves

- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with access control procedures at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by answering questions and assisting as needed while following site-specific policies and procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter as required by the site.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
- Collaborate with emergency response personnel and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide reassurance to those at the location.
