Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Front Desk in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will provide a welcoming presence and assist with access control at a prominent commercial real estate location. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related situations, all while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

One or more years of security-related experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as required, including communication with appropriate personnel and authorities.
Maintain accurate records and logs of all activities, incidents, and observations at the front desk.
Communicate professionally and courteously with tenants, guests, and staff to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
Support Allied Universal management with site-specific tasks and assignments related to front desk operations.
