As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage access control systems to help regulate entry and exit of personnel and visitors at the location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals seeking access, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting clients, guests, and tenants with inquiries and directions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or policy violations as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities as directed and assist with evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
