Job Description As a Security Officer - College Campus Patrol Driver in Kutztown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as College Campuses, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a college campus location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support students, employees and visitors with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Control access at entrances and key interior points by verifying identification, coordinating visitor check-in, and monitoring deliveries and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
- Complete timely reports of patrols, observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or oncoming personnel.
