About The Position

As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Must be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
Assist with access control activities by monitoring entry points, verifying approved access, and reporting unauthorized persons and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
Support a professional environment by providing directions, helping to de-escalate tense situations, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
