Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Possess a guard card or license, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with hospital personnel and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout medical buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and security-related support in accordance with site requirements.
Support daily operations at a healthcare location by remaining visible, providing assistance during routine and urgent situations, and reporting policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious activity.
