About The Position

As a Security Officer - Clinic Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete vehicle and foot rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements

Hospital: Vaccines are required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, observing for unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations and reporting findings.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, de-escalation, and timely notifications to the appropriate personnel.
Control access to designated areas by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors to proper check-in locations based on site procedures.
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document security-related events accurately, and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts during shift transitions.
