As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
This position is in a hospital morgue environment.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, hospital-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, medical facility disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor access points and visitor traffic, help manage entries and exits, and assist with wayfinding and de-escalation when needed.
Complete security-related logs and reports, communicate via radio and/or phone, and support hospital staff during alarms, evacuations, and other response activities.
