Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
- Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
- Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
- Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms
- Act as a first responder in emergency situations
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must have 3+ years of security experience
- Must have an ACTIVE Top-Secret, Top-Secret/SCI, Top-Secret/SCI (Poly)
- Must meet Clearance Eligibility Requirements
- Must understand the process takes minimum 6 months to 1 year
- Must have strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Nice-to-haves
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
