As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access procedures, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Control access to facilities and restricted areas by verifying identification, managing visitor processing, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete security-related reports, logs, and required documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
