You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance, and deliver clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and authorization, and help to maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery logs per site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site contacts and/or Allied Universal management as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, observations, and incidents using required paper and/or electronic reporting systems.
