Job Description As a Security Officer - Clearance-Required Patrol Driver in Englewood, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a leading tech location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and service requests, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. You will support a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first, delivering through teamwork and acting with integrity while creating a positive experience for everyone onsite.

Requirements

An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site employees, contractors and/or visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, labs, parking areas and perimeter points, noting hazards, irregular activity and/or unsecured doors to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify credentials and/or badges as required, and assist with directing authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from on-site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident documentation and patrol logs, and communicate observations and handoff information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
