About The Position

As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Patrol Driver in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring the operation of vehicles as part of your daily responsibilities. You will provide exceptional customer service, support a secure environment, and embody our values of teamwork, agility, and integrity while putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
An active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and ensuring compliance with site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with on-site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
