As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access points, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document observations while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

Have 6 or more months of security experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned buildings, corridors, stairwells, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and screen visitors according to post orders, directing individuals to the appropriate departments and assisting with maintaining orderly entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
Complete accurate reports and daily activity logs, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site personnel.
