Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring integrity and teamwork to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes, checking doors, gates, and equipment areas for unusual conditions.
Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization at designated entry points, directing authorized traffic, and assisting with visitor check-in procedures when assigned.
Complete timely reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, using site systems and/or Allied Universal reporting tools.
