Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol in DENVER, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment in a chemical or petrochemical location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
- Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location to help to deter security-related risks and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
- Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to assist with security-related matters and emergency response activities.
