As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols at a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your focus will be on monitoring assigned areas, delivering outstanding customer service, and providing clear communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual conditions, hazards, or suspicious activity related to the chemical and petrochemical environment and promptly report findings.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizations for individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, including evacuations or drills specific to the location.
