Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols within the location.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols and security-related incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical facility.
  • Support emergency response efforts as directed, including coordinating with onsite personnel and first responders when appropriate.
