As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while adhering to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor access points in the chemical and petrochemical environment and verify credentials as required.
Document and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activities according to site protocols.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel as needed to relay information about incidents or ongoing concerns.
