As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining strong communication with clients and team members. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or hazards to the appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols and emergency procedures relevant to the chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Support access control measures by verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site policy.
  • Document observations and incidents accurately in daily activity reports.
