About The Position

As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrolman in Bartow, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the site.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
Document and report any unusual observations or incidents according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related issues as they arise.
Maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and protocols relevant to chemical and petrochemical environments while performing patrols and other duties.
