As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol Driver in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help control access to authorized personnel and visitors.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the chemical or petrochemical location.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and visitors as needed.
- Complete required reports and documentation of security-related incidents and daily activities.
- Support Allied Universal in maintaining a secure environment by following all site-specific instructions and procedures.
