Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Support emergency preparedness efforts by participating in drills and following established procedures for chemical or petrochemical environments.
