As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will staff access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vehicle entry, and maintain clear logs and reports. You will stay visible, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and help to identify and escalate security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supported by a caring, agile team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of security experience is required.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, including verifying identification, issuing credentials, and maintaining required entry and/or exit logs.
• Monitor and control vehicle and pedestrian entry points at an industrial location, including directing traffic flow, coordinating with onsite contacts, and reporting unusual activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate and completing incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
• Operate and monitor security-related systems and communications, including radios, cameras, and alarm panels, and relay accurate information to management and/or emergency services as needed.
