As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support gate and yard activity, observe for irregular conditions, document findings, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, trailer yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
Control access at entrances, gates, and loading areas by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and contractor check-in, and directing drivers to designated areas per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including observing and reporting suspicious activity, supporting emergency responders, and completing required notifications.
Document daily activity, patrol findings, and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
