In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies at a technology-focused corporate location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or credential checks while documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site expectations.
Support emergency response activities, including evacuations, medical calls, and/or building-related disruptions, while following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
