As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol the assigned location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the education location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter of the education location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding incidents and daily activities as required.
Assist visitors, students, and/or staff with questions or directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs and/or reports of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
