About The Position

As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Eden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an education location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and activity across the location, offering directions and assistance while helping to support a professional environment for daily operations and scheduled events.
Communicate with site contacts, emergency personnel, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy questions, and changing conditions that may require attention.
