About The Position

As a Security Officer Campus Patrol Clearance Required in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
A guard card/license is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site protocols to help support controlled entry and authorized movement throughout the location.
Support a professional environment within an aero and defense location by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior through proper channels.
