As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or authorization for entry when required.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting first responders and following established protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the location.
• Communicate professionally with students, staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as situations arise.
