As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will engage with students, staff, and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Must have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the educational facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents and daily activities.
Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions or needs at the location.
