About The Position

As a Security Officer, your primary function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for our guests and team members while protecting the company assets and maintaining a safe and secured entertainment atmosphere. You will maintain an upbeat and positive attitude, creating positive energy with gestures and sustaining enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Your role will involve creating an atmosphere of luck and celebrating guests' wins, checking for satisfaction, and effectively resolving service breakdowns when they exist. You will be responsible for maintaining security protection on property, including money transactions, and performing command center/dispatch functions when necessary. This includes checking for valid identification to ensure all guests are at least 21 years of age and handling all monetary transactions between gaming operations in compliance with regulations and as required by property management. You will be ready to offer service and have knowledge of daily property information to assist guests, building relationships by initiating a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Your duties will also include patrolling assigned areas while providing guest assistance, being alert for suspicious circumstances or individuals, gaming violations, possible theft, safety hazards, or related concerns, medical emergencies, or damage to Caesars Entertainment properties. In addition, you will observe and report disruptive or intoxicated guests, respond to security concerns in a prompt and efficient manner, and provide medical attention in emergency situations to guests. Effective communication over dispatch radio is essential, as is maintaining an upbeat and positive demeanor in all interactions while handling difficult situations with composure. You will comply with Louisiana Gaming Commission Regulations and company regulations, policies, and procedures, acting as a role model to other employees and presenting yourself as a credit to the Company. This role requires a well-groomed appearance that reflects the professional demeanor of the Security Department, and adherence to attendance guidelines and company policies is mandatory.
