Job Description As a Security Officer - Building Patrol Driver in TREVOSE , PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and strong customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies when necessary.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while on duty.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors as needed.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions to authorized individuals.
- Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and collaborating with local authorities when appropriate.
