About The Position

As a Security Officer Building Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

A Guard Card/license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disputes, suspicious activity, and medical situations.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
Monitor gates, doors, and other access points; assist with visitor and vendor check-in, badge issuance when applicable, and directing individuals to the proper contact or location.
Observe and report unauthorized entry attempts, loitering, and/or property damage; notify site contacts and/or local authorities when required by post orders.
Complete security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation with clear, timely details.
Support fire, weather, power outage, and other emergency procedures, including notifications, area checks, and assisting with orderly evacuations when directed.
Communicate with site management, maintenance, and fellow team members using radios, phones, and/or electronic systems; escalate concerns through the chain of command as needed.
Perform perimeter checks after hours, verify lights and doors, and report hazards such as spills, obstructions, and/or unsecured areas for follow-up.
Maintain a professional presence and follow Allied Universal and site-specific policies while performing assigned duties.
