As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization, checking credentials and/or visitor logs, and directing traffic flow in parking and delivery areas when assigned.
• Complete detailed reports and shift logs, communicate observations during shift turnovers, and support investigations by preserving information and reporting unusual activity.
