About The Position

As a Security Officer - Building Access Full-Time in Anaheim, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Enforce site-specific policies and procedures related to access control.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and/or issues.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activity according to established procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills.
Maintain accurate logs and records of access control activities and incidents.
