As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, and document activity using a computer or tablet. Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing alarms, disruptions, and requests for assistance, and escalating to site management and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building common areas, parking areas, loading and service corridors, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points during patrols by observing entry and exit activity, assisting with visitor direction, and reporting unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious behavior according to post orders.
Complete detailed written and/or electronic reports of patrol activities, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
