As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish.
  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting observed activity and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, waiting areas, and/or sensitive departments for security-related concerns, and assist with visitor screening, directions, and policy awareness as directed by site procedures.
  • Support staff and first responders during medical, behavioral, and/or facility-related events by helping to manage foot traffic, maintain order, and communicate relevant information according to post instructions.
